This garment has been fashioned from medium weight wool blend. The blend has brown undertones through it .....which gives the fabric a soft feel as well as look. It is not a "green-green".
Inside & out, trim skirts all edges. Gold/black make up the narrow band, a tapestry of blue/gold/green/black makes up the wider one running the front to floor & round the hood.
Inside garment on 'backwall' is a most awesome applique that my aunt made many years ago. It has been carefully sewn on the fabric and will not disturb wearer, but makes a silent statement all its own.
Bottom sweep measures: 182 inches
Center neck seem to floor at back measures : 53.5 inches
Front center at clasp to floor measures : 43.5 inches Hood measures 16 X 18 inches
Tassel beaded/created on premises
Clasp is sewn into front seem as this area takes alot of pressure.
Cloak can be swung to one side or worn with opening on shoulder to advance arm movement.
